Sorry, I didn't mean to be insulting, I just don't see the
connection to the thruster claims. The web page Colin
linked to was pretty specific about the wavespeed being
C in one portion of the cavity, and sub C in the other part.
It's certainly the case that the phase velocity
can exceed C in a cavity.
BTW, I also did experiments with the
55 gallon drum waveguide trying to couple energy from
the higher order FTL mode into some kind of real
mode outside the cavity. Results were mixed;
I can't say I got any clear positive results.
