Here's a link to some specific information about infrasound

Dangerous stuff. This has become a real problem here in NYC,
and is causing me now to seriously consider moving elsewhere.
All I will say, is that there is no limit to human stupidity,
and no limit to self destructiveness.

Hey Keith,

Thanks for the notions...

**************You know, that same principle might
apply to aves and mammals (other than people) too.
Maybe to "bird ears" there is a cacophany emitted from
below just by the expansions and contractions from
sunlight, wind, and pesky hominids. I was hoping one
of them might levitate when ringing, or at least jump
a wee bit and spook me. But sadly, nah. Coral Castle
blocks these apparently weren't...:)

************I think there was a local music prof years
ago did that. It would have been tempting, but the
shocks on the van would have given out;)

***************Yeah, really! To be honest, I couldn't
help but keep seeing in my mind's eye a host of
scraggly troglodytes crawling across the boulders to
the tunes of Led Zep.
