[NewCandle] 1st Test of Fred's levitator

I just now did the following test.

I used a .1g Ohaus digital scale to measure the combined
mass of a piece of aluminum foil about the size of a dollar
bill, a smaller piece of paper towel, a copper foil
piece about the size of a quarter, and enough salt water
to wet the paper towel. The whole affair was electrically
insulated from the steel pan by a dry paper towel.

With all the elements together on the pan but electrically isolated,
the mass is 3.6 grams. With the foil pieces in contact via the electrolyte,
.5 volts was measured across the foils. Weight remained at 3.6 grams.

If you think it would matter, I could go up on the roof
and do it, the scale is an Ohaus Scout and can run on battery power.
