[NewCandle] NR attempt at Freds battery anti-lifter

It's remarkable to me how much effective capacity rechargable
batteries have. This Li-ion unit I pulled from my camera
is rated for 7.2V 1350mAh. That would be 4860 coulombs
of charge, and a total energy storage of 35 kilojoules.
It would be equal in energy and charge to a 10V supercap
at 675 farads. A car battery would easily be in
the 10's of kilofarad region.

I think that if we have any hope of seeing an effect there would
need to be some other asymmetry in the two electrodes. Something
to cause an imbalance in the forces to a grounded terminal.

Fred, you should get one of these smaller scales, the Scout
is OK but perhaps there are better around now. It was an impulse
buy for me at the time.

K.

Another strategy is to call the company, ask for the top person in
technical sales, and give them a spiel about doing a write-up for
such-and-such "Green" publication, after which you will return the items
undamaged.

Many companies are open to this kind of free nearly-free publicity.

Hey - one ideal application for these would be as a battery replacement
for the electric bicycle, right?
