... not really - mine are 6000 mcd.

Did I miss a post? Sometimes NewCandle gets caught by my filter.

Anyway, the problem is not the light output, per se - but the photon 
output per watt of input.

Ron has a pretty airtight method of dealing with this using a Luxon 
light meter (if you can trust a light meter), since the eyes do lie wrt 
light intensity.

There simply is no comparison based on his results. RF is minimum 5X and 
up to 50X times more light output (from the light meter reading), per 
watt of DC input into the primary of his circuit - than the equivalent 
DC used to light the LEDs in a normal parallel circuit.
