Hi Jones,
A Bird wattmeter would probably be good to use, but
the old style ones I used in my radio repair years had
inserts or "slugs" that were intended for a specific
band and power. If in general the frequencies of the
various SEC circuits are in the 2 to 10 MHz range,
then you probably would need to locate a ham who
worked 80 and 160 meter bands. I used to work on
business band VHF, UHF and public service band FM.
It's been 20 years since I seriously shopped for any
radio repair or tuning gear! I no longer have a Bird.
I'm sure somebody makes a nice little broad band RF
field meter that could be used to determine and map
the drop-off of the SEC field. I hate to say it, but
the old stand-by mini RF meter I recall that Radio
Slack used to sell was a pair of diodes, a cap, and a
microammeter. Shades of Avramenko!
Good luck...

The Holy Grail 'neath ancient Roslin waits.
The blade and chalice guarding o'er Her gates.
Adorned in the masters' loving art, She lies;
She rests at last beneath the starry skies.
