[NewCandle] Cell eyed Joe

Nope. Joe's left the building.

If you have the old passive hydrolysis setup, what's the pH of the solution?

Perhaps somehow it's getting alkaline or acid due to
atmospheric exposure and the Al is just dissolving as
would be expected.

Here's a dumb chemistry question for you. I've got a beaker
of cobalt hydroxide and iron hydroxide. I want to separate
the two. How?

K.

"Hey Joe, where you goin' with that cell in your hands?"

Somewhat of an oddity, past week. Having some trouble
replicating the passive hydrolysis of the aluminum in
water. Must be some subtle catalyzing needed.
Or...bob forbid... conditioning!

Anyway, that leads to the thought of the moment.
Anything new going on out there with Joe Cell
replication work? I seem to recall Terry B was doing
a Joe Cell late last year. A quick snoop onto Vortex
didn't yield any apparent recent discussion about it.

Any updates anyone?

N
