Yeah, I like to call it progress (grin). Really, it's a hopeful
sign. What's a real death blow is when you get those initial
results, then everyones brains die and you can't do another
experiment 'cause it might "ruin" those great results. Some folks
get mighty squirrelly in those situations. Glad to see you're
not falling into that trap.

Yeah, I'll bet it does. People spend lifetimes doing that kind
of work, even when the physics is well know. OTOH, it's possible
in some cases to "cheat" on a prototype and do things that'd
never be practical outside the lab ( like for example making a
fresh batch of catalyst for each and every experimental run ).

Hmmm.... Congress??? Bwahahaha!!!!! We'll be knee deep in water here
in NYC before those morons wake up. It's pretty clear from the
past 6 years that we're on our own here.
