Hey Nick,

Cool patent. Is this perhaps related to Jones proprietary method
of H2O2 concentration... Who can say? Thanks for the heads up,
I'm sure a quick search of magnetohydrodynamic patents would
turn up a bunch of related stuff.

The B2 is a kind code, and they've been there for a couple years.
The kind code indicates the type of publication. B2 is a patent
that has a previously published pre-grant publication ( that big
fugly word salad is lawyerese for application ) which was available
after march 2001. Here's the current standard codes.

Two documents I said I would dig up when I got back to
work...

One I haven't found yet - the paper dealing with the
photovoltaic assisted hydrolysis of water using Fe3O4
and other semiconductor nanoparticles.

However, I DID find the information I remembered on
the magnetic desalinator. I was wrong - twas not an
Israeli effort, but a Swedish inventor:

US Patent 7,033,478 B2

When did they start tacking on suffixes? What does B2
imply?
