Heyyo,

*******At the time, it was a company project, under
the McMaster Fuels umbrella. About a year before I
began working for the company, they had been
approached by a group from Pennsylvania who wanted to
convince us that Brown's Gas (Their name for it of
course was/is different) was the answer to IC engine
fuel augmentation needs, and we should invest in it.
A couple of years of on and off again experiments
pretty much led me and the other PI here to conclude
that we really were just dealing with near
stoichiometric H2 and O2 blends, energy balances, heat
content, etc all accordingly. I even got to try out
the claim of radioactive remediation, which I at first
thought I was seeing, but then found that I was
ablating and dispersing the radioactive material!
Much to my chagrin, since I was breathing air in the
same room.

So naw, no reports I can officially share since even
though the project is dormant, its still company
property. But from a personal perspective - working
on it over a lot of off hours - I maintain my position
that I never saw any evidence at all of anything other
than by-the-books H2 and O2 combustion. Radiation
reduction, implosion, heat content, target heat
responses - to me, just excitable people's
imaginations, sloppy data, and unfamiliarity with
thermal properties of materials.

One of the ongoing problems I think is that many of
the Brown's Gas devotees / believers never just were
previously familiar with the idiosyncracies of
hydrogen-oxygen flames or torches. In years past, I
had done a modest amount of quartz-working with
hydrogen torches. It's an eerie flame in subtle ways,
both aesthetically and in delivery of energy to the
workpiece. Not to mention the wonder of water
dripping from the cold end of your workpiece. Yay for
recombination.

I'm tickled to live in a universe with hydrogen!
