[NewCandle] Dead batt. OU?

Being one who follows the negentropy will-o-the-wisp
like the Questing Beast, I'm not surprised at
occasional spurious "anomalous" charge evolution.
Lead acid batteries seem like they would be prone to a
lot of oddball electrochemistry, though, and Keith
does accurately point out the effects electrolytic
caps are prone to, as well. Seen em.
I'd be more interested - and convinced - in anomalous
charging of high Q solid capacitors, like mica
doorknobs or such. Or something like lithium
batteries or zinc-air cells.
I hold to the hypothesis that magnetic moters and OU
transformers are mostly red herrings, but they
represent interesting "hairy edge" non-reversible
thermodynamic systems that might entice
(statistically) negentropy to show up - for a while.
Until negentropy gets bored and leaves.
There was some oddball lore from the late 1980s that
said traditional manganese dry cell batteries would
spontaneously re-charge to some degree inside of Reich
orgone accumulators. Never tried it myself. I have
to watch what company I toss the "O" word around in,
anymore, but still - I'm allowed to because I'm such
an obnoxious empiricist.
