Nick,
Yeah there is nothing in the catalog, but a search for "protonetics"
takes you direct to Coorstek. Maybe the proton work was shelved, pending
commercial interest... or maybe the connection is as a tax writeoff for
someone in the clan.
If you ever are talking to their rep., it might be interesting to learn
what the inside story is/was...
