No zinc in that one. Once the membrane gets any tiny pin hole or the
seal fails, everything is neutralized rapidly and that can be dangerous.
Should have done a more thorough job with that cell as it was not well
crafted.
However, when used to enrich HOOH, there is one grade of Goretex which
is a decent filter, at least for a few days. For whatever reason, that
stuff will pass almost anything BUT water, for a while. If it were only
longer lasting, it would be great. Probably has a coating which degrades
more rapidly than they realize.
