It may make it more conductive, or less, depending on the conditions
of the pipe, the time it's been sitting, and the source water.
Too many variables. Starting with the same water, and letting
it flow from one bucket to another, at least that's a start
towards controlling things. Then, I would mainly worry about seeing
(a) more conductivity due to uptake of CO2 from the air and
(b) more conductivity due to impurities in the hose and buckets.

I just watched the clip again. He's showing the difference
between spring water and tap water after running for 30 seconds.
He refers to another clip where he shows other tap water?
We were both confused a bit about the particulars (grin).
Anyway, spring water would have much lower conductivity
than the tap, so again I think what we see in this clip is
the difference in conductivity. He shows a voltage around
13.5V for the spring, and 11.5V for the tap. He must
be using a poorly regulated supply, as I don't think
he changed the supply settings, as he then states that
he needs to turn down the voltage. Now we see the ammeter
for the first time in the clip.

Well, I don't know. I'm not dismissing the idea; rather I'm
saying the experiment doesn't tell us anything. I suppose one
could contact the guy and see how amenable he is to doing
a more controlled experiment, but that's something I am
_really_ bad at (grin). Probably you're better at this. OTOH,
it's so simple to do you should take a crack at it yourself...
Sounds like a lot more fun to me! No need for a fancy 15 plate
cell, just two stainless steel plates ought to be enough.
