Hey Jones,

Beats me. My advice to Ron, as to any other OU researcher, is
to close the loop. Then, build kits and send them to the folks
we all have come to know as competent enough to evaluate them
without prejudice. That is the only road I know. It's a rocky one, but it does
take one through the mountains. All others lead off the cliffs.
As regards Avramenkos system, it's a form of a system
developed by Goubau for transmitting information and power
over a single wire via surface waves. This is old and well understood,
and I was delighted to find a Wiki entry on the subject of Goubau.
( I have a lot of old paper ref's on this from when I was working
with it in the late 80's )
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single-wire_transmission_line
The only element new ( to me anyway ) was the rectifier part.
BTW, I am amazed Avramenko was granted a patent on this. He
doesn't even ref. the Goubau patents. But I haven't bothered
to analyze the claims so I can't really say.
K.
