Aha. Let me add that even though DrS himself has
dropped the "cold electricity" designation, indicating
he may be ready to go "mainstream ahead", as well as
full-steam-ahead, I am not sure there is not more
going on in this circuit than regular EMF.

Perhaps that was an unfortunate choice ("cold
electricity") for getting something published, as it
is loaded with negative connotations to some ... but I
kinda like it for a number of oddball reasons. 

As you may know, I have speculated that another
descriptor for this putative entity, the "cold
electron" is: degenerate-electron-cooper-pair which if
it is real (as unlikely as that may seem now) then it
is probably also the subunit of the shoulder's EVO ;-)

At any rate, if there is something more than normal
EMF at work, then two types of diodes may do something
special towards rectifying either of the two types...
in which case, I would at least try alternating LEDs
with signal diodes and look for improvement ;-)

As to why I am in the grandstands so far, instead of
building a simple circuit, there is no need to bore
you with my personal health issues, but they have been
mitigating of late; therefore, as soon as I find the
right diodes, you will see more action than words from
my end ...
