Hey folks,
I need some materials selection advice. The topic is
a casimatter experiment, liquid phase.
Are there any (hopefully low viscosity) liquid
compounds that:
1. Would be able to non-reactively suspend / enclose
micron to submicron spherules of aluminum...
AND
2. Have as low an absorption or high a transparency
as possible, out past 250nm heading blue-ward.
Sam Faile suggested ethanol... but a really GOOD
anhydrous high purity grade of ethanol.
Any other suggestions?

The blade and chalice guarding o'er Her gates.
Adorned in the masters' loving art, She lies;
She rests at last beneath the starry skies.
